First County Bank is ready to accept your application for the next round of PPP Loans 

We are accepting First Draw and Second Draw applications through our online portal: https://forms.onlineaccountaccess.com/secure1/firstcountybank. All communication and supporting documentation will be transmitted through this portal.

To facilitate our evaluation of your request, please pay close attention the eligibility and documentary requirements described in the online application.  Details about requirements, eligibility, terms, and conditions may be found on the SBA’s website: https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/loans/coronavirus-relief-options/paycheck-protection-program

To prepare for the application process:

  • If your business received a PPP loan during 2020, you must be able to demonstrate that your business has used the entire loan. You also must be able to demonstrate at least a 25% reduction in gross revenues between comparable quarters in 2019 and 2020.
  • Gather payroll information, including gross compensation, employer portions of healthcare and retirement contributions, state and local taxes.
  • Consult with your CPA or tax advisor on eligibility and documentation.

The programs and initiatives provided in the CARES Act, the Economic Relief Act and the Small Business Administration (SBA) are intended to assist business owners with needs that have arisen as a result of the national impact from COVID-19.

Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Application Information

We are accepting First Draw and Second Draw applications through our online portal: https://forms.onlineaccountaccess.com/secure1/firstcountybank. All communication and supporting documentation will be transmitted through this portal.

Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Forgiveness Information

First County Bank is now ready to accept your Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Forgiveness Application electronically, through our secure online portal. We will not be accepting paper applications. In order to access the application in the portal, you will need to have these three (3) pieces of identifying information:

    • Your SBA Loan Number
    • Your Tax ID or EIN# that was used on your PPP Loan Application
    • The loan amount you received

Please also make sure that you have the supporting documentation for payroll and non-payroll costs to upload into the portal. Detailed step-by-step instructions are available in the portal. We strongly recommend that you consult with your CPA and/or payroll service provider for assistance.

For customers that received PPP loans less than or equal to $50,000, please choose the streamlined application path in the portal, using SBA FORM 3508S. There will be a question that prompts you: “Would you like to complete the 3508S version of the forgiveness application?” Please answer: “Yes”.

Once we receive your completed Loan Forgiveness Application, First County Bank has 60 days to review the completed application and supporting documents and submit our decision to the SBA. The SBA then has 90 days to approve the forgiveness amount. We will continue to monitor changes in the guidance from both the SBA and the U.S. Treasury, and will incorporate changes as appropriate to the Forgiveness Application process.

SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) and Emergency Economic Injury Grants are programs offered by the SBA. An EIDL can help you to meet your broader emergency funding needs. An Emergency Economic Injury Grant can provide a quick infusion of cash (up to $10,000). Access these programs and apply directly with the SBA.

As of December 1, 2020, the Small Business Administration (SBA) was ordered to release public data about Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans. Specifically, borrowers’ names, addresses, loan amounts and lenders have been publicized. Please be aware that third parties that are NOT affiliated with First County Bank may attempt to use this data to market to you or even to commit fraud. Any communications regarding your PPP loan and the forgiveness process will come directly from First County Bank. Please do not share your personal or private financial information if solicited by phone or email unless you are absolutely sure of the integrity of the source. If you have any doubts about the authenticity or purpose of PPP Program related messages, please contact your Loan Officer, or call Business Banking immediately at 203-462-4855.

As part of the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), the U.S. Federal Government has approved a second stimulus plan and has begun providing Economic Impact Payments (stimulus payments) to eligible persons. Automatic distribution of funds will begin on January 4, 2021 and continue over the course of the next few weeks. 

Eligible individuals will receive funds from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as follows:

  • By automatic deposit directly to the same bank account you use for tax filing purposes; or
  • If you did not give the IRS direct deposit account information and are eligible you will receive a U.S. Treasury check.

    • Our branches and office locations are cleaned daily, and we have heightened the sanitizing of surfaces and equipment. We are regularly disinfecting all high-touch areas including work stations to ensure the safety of our customers and employees.
    • We have introduced enhanced deep cleaning procedures at our branches and office locations on a weekly basis with hospital-grade disinfectant.
    • We are continuously educating our employees on the best practices on preventative measures they can take to stay healthy, while encouraging any employee not come to work if they are experiencing any symptoms or have potentially been exposed.
    • We have implemented a self-imposed moratorium on business travel – including large scale meetings and have encouraged our employees to limit themselves to essential travel during this time.

People may try to take advantage of your fears of COVID-19 by:

    • Offering to sell you fake products or medical advice.
    • Soliciting donations to phony charities.
    • Compelling you to click a bogus link to gain access to your device.
    • Making unsolicited fraudulent phone calls saying they are from First County Bank, requesting your social security number, account pin, online banking password, or other private information.
