Clairol 6, Carpentry 2: Clairol’s Shaun Donawa shut down Carpentry Unlimited’s bats for four innings (eight Ks) and collected two singles at the plate in a 6-2 win on May 12. Matt Feeny led the Clairol offense (two hits, three RBI) while Blake Cortell(sac bunt) and Tim Wong (RBI) had key at-bats. Andrew Lanzillotti had a RBI double and Nico Seitaridis added two hits for Carpentry.

Clairol 16, RMS 6: Matt Feeny’s three-hit, four-RBI day paced Clairol in a 16-6 victory over RMS Companies on May 10. Joe Colon (three RBI), Shaun Donawa (two doubles, three RBI), Ryan Tonghini and Andrew Wong each had two hits and Luke Goodreds added (single, two RBI) for the winners. Andrew Thompson (triple), Colin Sasser (RBI) and Matthew Fleming (hit, RBI) led the RMS offense.

Haggerty 14, Carpentry 8: Justin Fuchs (three hits) and Jake Frattaroli (two hits, three RBI) led the Haggerty Pools offense as it defeated Carpentry Unlimited, 14-8 on May 9. Sean Jones and Bruce Rutherford pitched well for Haggerty. Carpentry received key hits from Connor Hoch, Aidan McGrath and Nick Cannon.

WOMEN’S GOLF
STERLING FARMS

In a May 15 stroke play event for the 18 Holers, in A Flight, Jeanette Chagaris (81) was low gross. In B Flight, MaryAnn DeRosa (101) was low gross while Rhea Plotnick (74) was low net.

In C Flight, Marie McLoughlin (116) was low gross while Joan James (78) was low net.

In a May 15 event for the 9 Holers, Geri Genovese was 1st low net followed by Jean Docimo. Lillian Novotney was low putts.

MEN’S GOLF

HUBBARD HEIGHTS

In a May 11-13 Stableford weekend event, in A Flight, Rob Colucci (25 points) was the winner followed by Justin Valenti (21), Marc Romano (19) and Mike Fitzpatrick (19). Ron Russo Jr. (78) was low gross.

In B Flight, Tom Yates (19 points) was the winner. Chris O’Connell (18), Al Perillo (16) and Joe Terenzio (15) were next. Terry O’Connell (92) was low gross.

STERLING FARMS

In a May 11-13 Stroke Play weekend event, in A Flight, Mike Szemenyei (79) was low gross score followed by Jamie Russo(83) and Jeff Mayfield (84). Ralph Vitti (74) was low net score just ahead of Kevin Behan (75), Seizo Mazer (76) and George Arias (77).

In B Flight, Doug Jamieson (81) was low gross with Ron Spitzberg (82) next. Billy Lombardo (69) was low net score followed by Lenny Canora (71), Bob Fogel (72) with Peter Szemenyei, Bill Morris and Howard Kraus all at 76.

In C Flight, Bill Kreussling (84) was low gross score. Pete Silver and Wade Rocco checked in at 90. David Moskowitz (69) was low net followed by Peter Benoliel (71), Larry Holzman (74) and Steve Rossi (74).

REGISTER FOR 18TH SILVERSOURCE CHARITY GOLF

The 18th Annual SilverSource Charity Golf tournament will take place on Monday, June 11th at Rockrimmon Country Club, and raises funds to prevent homelessness among older adults and also funds the Ride to Wellness transportation program for seniors.
