STAMFORD, CT, February 2, 2022 – First County Bank welcomes Richard Muskus Jr., as Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer and Director of Business Banking. Muskus will be taking over for Sara Tucker, who has been transitioning her responsibilities over to him, in preparation of her retirement at the end of March.
Muskus has over 30 years of community banking experience working throughout Southern Connecticut and the New York metro area. Muskus, who joins First County Bank from Carver Federal Savings Bank where he served as Chief Revenue Officer, previously held roles as President and Chief Lending Officer of Patriot Bank. At First County Bank, he will be responsible for business development, loan production and portfolio management, and provide support for small businesses seeking community development opportunities. As a member of the bank’s Senior Management Team, Muskus’s position will report directly to Robert Granata, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of First County Bank.

Muskus received his Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley University, is a Greenwich resident where he lives with his wife and three children, and is actively involved in local nonprofit organizations, holding several board positions.
